Posting Job & Internship Opportunities
Employers can post part-time, full-time, internship positions, and events for our students and alumni on Handshake. To get started, visit

We can also promote your opportunities and events to specific programs/majors, student groups, and faculty after they are posted - email to let us know which programs/areas you would like to connect with. Handshake also gives employers the ability to message directly with candidates. We are happy to work with you to develop internship opportunities that will allow students to earn academic credit while they gain experience. Contact us with questions or to get started.
Micro-Internships
Visit Micro-Internships for Kansas City Kansas Community College or contact us to learn more about offering shorter, project-based (usually 10-40 hours total) Micro-Internships for students, including possible grant funding for Kansas employers to offer projects to Kansas college students.
Career Exploration
For our students exploring different career paths, we work with employer partners who are willing to talk with students – informational phone calls, possible job shadowing, etc. If this is something you or someone on your team is willing to consider, let us know!

KCKCC hosts various career fairs, networking events, and mock interviewing events throughout the year. We send invitations and info to our registered Handshake employers.
