Lynn Seaton is one of the finest jazz bassists in the world, appearing on over 125 albums, including the GRAMMY-winning Diane Schuur & the Count Basie Orchestra. In addition to his two-year stint with the Basie band, Seaton also has toured with Woody Herman and the Young Thundering Herd, Tony Bennett, George Shearing, Monty Alexander, and the Jeff Hamilton Trio. Seaton has released several critically-acclaimed recordings as a bandleader as well, and he is a Regents Professor in the Jazz Studies Division of the College of Music at the University of North Texas.
